“Good value for a short stay and very clean facility.”

Loved the kitchen and the living room. The only downside is that the bedroom is next to the street we got woke up by trucks passing by

The toilets - how it could still be private even if it's shared/public. They also have a drying room which is very convenient. Not a lot of hooks inside the rooms for non-wet clothes

Five min walk to Ohakune village / one minute drive. Dempsey shuttle to Turoa picks up outside front of accommodation. Staff super friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean, and excellent condition. We didn’t get to try the cafe. No spare toilet paper roll

I liked the room’s size and the multiple heating options, and the linens and towels were clean and nice, but the property is a 500 m walk from the main lodge area, which feels far from the main accommodation. The building sits down a driveway with a private house in front, unattractive neighboring houses, and a view into a timber yard, plus there’s no Wi‑Fi and no plug in the kitchen sink.
