It’s a quiet spot with views; you can watch monkeys and eagles in the morning. The road is under construction, and the host will pick you up before the unpaved climb, which should finish by the next busy season. It’s a family run place, and nothing required too much travel. Laundry is available, and the host kindly drove us to a scooter rental. It’s a wonderful, quiet retreat with wide vistas.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay at this small family hotel. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and cozy. The rooms are comfortable, and the mountain view from the windows makes the trip especially pleasant. One of the most memorable touches was the telescope on the balcony of their café; at night you could see the moon and stars, a truly special experience. We were traveling with two cats, so it was crucial to find a pet‑friendly place. The owner gladly accepted us and our cats, and we’re very grateful. The hotel is slightly uphill, but that’s no problem. When you arrive at the parking and call the owner, he comes in his car and helps you up to the hotel with your luggage. The staff and owner are very friendly and pleasant people, and overall we liked everything. Minor drawbacks: the shower drain in the bathroom was slow, and the parking was dusty, with the whole car covered in orange dust.

“1 star construction zone.”

The view from the restaurant was nice, but the location was terrible, the room was full of dead insects, and everything felt like a construction site. When we booked, the room was listed as 5 stars, so we had to cancel after seeing the reality. We lost the money for one night’s stay. Luckily the platform refunded us for three nights, but it’s still the worst hotel ever. You can get better accommodation at any hostel for just $10 a night than this place. The electricity didn’t work; when you tried to shower, the water stopped, the lights flickered, and the AC cycled on and off.

The staff were super friendly and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast tasted homey and the view from the room and open space was amazing. The hotel sits almost on top of the hill, so a non‑4x4 car or a bike can’t climb the slope; you can take the free shuttle up the hill or try to climb it yourself, but it’s hard with heavy suitcases—though it does make for a good workout.

The view is fantastic, the staff are friendly, and the cats are cozy. The back to the hotel is not a hotel but a Homestay, so you need a strong moped and good driving skills to get up; you can call the owner and he will pick you up, but you’ll be charged for the ride to and from the Homestay. I don’t know how or who gave the stars the hotel received, so forget them. Overall it’s a decent Homestay with great view, though the power flickered and the shower heat was poor. Our “suite” was a fine room with a balcony corridor where other guests pass by, and we didn’t pay for five stars. In short, a good Homestay with nice view.
