The rooms are surprisingly roomy and come with everything you’d need, plus the location right by the bus stop is spot‑on. Unfortunately the Wi‑Fi didn’t work at all, and when I asked for help the staff were rude and seemed to have been drinking. Solo travelers should think twice before booking here.

For about €20 a night you get a huge space that felt almost private since the other two rooms were empty, and the host was friendly enough to let us check in a little after 11 am. The place is right across from the bus station, so getting there is a breeze, and with three rooms and two bathrooms you never have to fight for a shower.

The spot is super comfy and the owners are genuinely welcoming, plus being right in front of the bus terminal made my arrivals and departures painless. It really deserves a higher rating than it currently has; the low score they got was due to an issue unrelated to the stay and easily fixable. I hope the rating gets corrected because it’s definitely worth staying here.

“Decepcionada”

I left a coat in the room and never heard back from the hotel about it, only realizing days later when I was already on my way to Sarandë. That coat was a gift from someone who has since passed away, and I would have paid any price to get it back. I’m hoping whoever has it is taking good care of it.

The apartment sits right opposite the Berat bus terminal and even has its own kitchen, while a city‑center bus stops right outside every fifteen minutes for about 30 lek. The downside is there’s no air‑conditioning or curtains, so the morning sun hits the room straight on.
