The spot is great for visiting Gerberoy, just a short drive away, and the on‑site restaurant offers free parking.

This is a beautiful property in its situation , with the two female staff we spoke with being really helpful. The man on reception was curt, and not pleasant. On arrival he told us that the restaurant was closed and there would be no breakfast until 9am the next day. We asked why we were not informed about the restaurant being closed every Sunday and then a nice woman came over, she saw the room number we had been given . My husband speaks quite good French and understood when she said oh don’t give them that room you know the shower isn’t working very well . He then ( still in a bad mood) changed our room . We said that nowhere did it say the restaurant was closed on Sunday. He said that was their fault not his. Why did they not send us a message when they accepted our reservation ? Breakfast was included in the price but we had to leave by 8.30am . We were kindly given an address by the nice woman for a restaurant 3 km away so we could eat. We were so looking forward to our evening by the river , but we couldn’t even have a drink from the bar as that was closed too. We think it was dreadful service not to have messaged us informing us of no evening meal and a late start to breakfast

The room was comfortable, though it lacked air conditioning. It was ideal for a one‑night stopover, and the restaurant food was excellent.
