The breakfast was excellent with a variety of options. I was unaware, because it wasn’t mentioned at booking, that the house is shared. The room and bathroom are separate, and the hallway is common with other rooms and the private areas of the lady who lives there. It would have been appropriate to detail these aspects in the service information during booking.

“Da evitare assolutamente.”

The breakfast was very sparse, reduced to the basics: toast and Oro Saiwa biscuits. The bed was a miserable sofa bed. There wasn’t even a chair in the room. The OUTDOOR bathroom made privacy impossible because the window faced the breakfast room and everything could be heard. The site’s information was misleading; there was no tea or coffee service with a kettle as advertised.

After a beach‑volley tournament in Presicce, I booked this B&B through Booking and set off, changing two buses with a pit‑stop in Gallipoli, exhausted from the trip. I was greeted by a world of essence—memories, experience, knowledge, and vitality. As many comments say, at Silvana’s B&B you feel at home! Not to mention her precious company and kindness; without transport, I spent a delightful day at the sea. In the morning, I tried all the jams, each better than the last, especially the fig jam—it felt like a childhood flashback, a leap into the past! Thank you, Silvana, I felt like family; when I return or visit Taranto, I’ll definitely come by.
