“Wunderschönes Hotel zum Wohlfühlen”

The hotel was lovely with truly stylish furnishings. The staff were exceptionally friendly, making us feel comfortable right away. The room was beautifully furnished and very clean.

“Comfortable but pricey!”

The location was good, the room comfortable, and parking was easy. The bar and restaurant staff were friendly. However, the bathroom was very large but poorly laid out: a big bath with a shower over it, a ridiculous basin and taps, no place to put anything, and a toilet with no door. Various fittings in the room and bathroom were loose and needed maintenance. Service in the restaurant was slow, especially at breakfast where there weren’t enough staff. At over £300 per night, the value was not good in our experience.

“Perfect choice”

The hotel was spotless and the staff were incredibly friendly, with no issues at all.

“Great location for exploring central Scotland.”

The room offered plenty of space, the parking was ample, the location was fantastic, breakfast was outstanding, and the staff were amazing—Cairn Lodge is the place to stay if that’s what you’re after.

The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good, but we were disappointed when we arrived for dinner and learned that only a less interesting Brasserie menu was available instead of the sample menu we had seen; we wish we’d known this earlier so we could have found a better dinner elsewhere.
