“Schöne Zimmer inmitten von Assisi”

Large, plain rooms with beautiful ceiling paintings. The check‑in process and payment handling are very complicated. ID details and photos of the IDs must be sent to an online portal. I’m not sure the data stay in reliable hands.

The room is very spacious and clean, enviable location. Nothing else.

The location is good, and overall the room is nice and welcoming. I didn’t like that I wasn’t greeted by anyone upon arrival. All information was communicated to me only via WhatsApp by the manager. If this method was indicated at booking and I missed it, it was probably not clear enough. The cleanliness was also questionable: I found dust in several places. I have photos that document what I said; I’m not attaching them here, but I’d be happy to share them with the manager if desired. The sleeping arrangement also left something to be desired. The sofa bed, described as a double, was actually one and a half and therefore noticeably smaller than indicated. It was also extremely uncomfortable. The dedicated pillows for the sofa bed were missing, and I had to use the spare ones from the double bed. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations, especially regarding reception, cleanliness, and sleeping comfort.
