The location was great for a concert at the Düsseldorf Arena, with quick entry and exit. The bed was very comfortable, the house was quiet, and we didn’t hear other guests. The bathroom had a drain smell, which might explain why the ventilation stayed on all the time and couldn’t be turned off overnight. The blinds stayed down the whole stay because the room was right next to the parking lot, making it dark; a simple blackout curtain would have helped. The advertised snack machine was missing, even though we were looking forward to it.

It was too simple for 15 euros, not worth it. The staff at the front desk offered a larger room for two people and a dog instead of the advertised “1 Zwinger”.

The check‑in was an absolute disaster. The Booking code didn’t work at the terminal, so we had to go to a side building where it took about 45 minutes to generate new codes at the front desk. We were given two codes, neither of which worked; eventually a combination of the surname and the second code worked for three out of four people. The fourth person had to go back to the front desk in the other building, where the receptionist fixed the code and only then could we settle in. The whole process took an hour and a quarter. The room was very small, with no place to sit at a laptop and work for a while.
