Stunning vistas, an amazing location with great hosts. This is my favourite stay in Sri Lanka and I would highly recommend it! The views are beautiful and the setting is peaceful. The breakfast was the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, and the hosts were wonderful. The room itself is modern, fully equipped, and very clean. The location is great, with a waterfall and train track walks nearby, or you can hop on a tuk‑tuk to get around. I love this place – nothing was lacking, it was perfect!

We had a fantastic stay at The Aurelian! 😊 Everything was perfect, especially the breakfast, which was truly excellent and generous. The girl and her mother are lovely, welcoming, and always ready to help. We felt very well received throughout our stay. A beautiful address in Ella that we recommend without hesitation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The view is incredible, and the place is very peaceful and calm. Service is also excellent and the breakfast is truly delicious. The location is great, just a 15‑minute walk from the city, allowing you to stay quiet in the jungle. The mattress is a bit too firm, the ears are moderately comfortable, and the bed squeaks a lot.

The view from the room and balcony was stunning, and the private Wi‑Fi router made the internet one of the fastest and most reliable we’ve seen in Sri Lanka. The property sits in a very secluded area next to a railway track, far from the city. Because of poor road conditions, PickMe drivers often refuse rides, so we had to book tuk‑tuks through the owner at roughly twice the usual cost. Walking at night isn’t practical because the area is surrounded by forest, with no streetlights and leeches present. Communication with the host was sometimes difficult due to the language barrier, leading to repeated misunderstandings. The breakfast was dry, as coconut roti was served without any curry, and when we tried to raise this issue, the host misunderstood our concern.

The little cosy Terrace offers an amazing view over the mountains. The rooms are super clean and the bathroom has an amazing shower! Breakfast changes every day and is served by the most friendly family. Thank you.
