The room was large, comfortable, and cozy, and the host was very welcoming. Breakfast was great, the location is perfect for walking into town centre, and there’s free roadside parking.

The hosts were welcoming, the bed and pillows were wonderful, and there’s a sofa bed in the dual‑aspect room. The décor throughout the hotel is lovely, the place is pristine, and breakfast is great. I’d definitely come back for any future events. The only downside is the low shower pressure, but it’s more than adequate.

The tea was a hit—my partner loves Yorkshire tea and the biscuits, and it put a smile on his face, which is what matters. The only issue was the shower water pressure.

The Lodge felt like a homely, cosy place to stay. When I say it was clean, I really mean it—everything was spotless and comfortable with all the essentials. The hosts were very friendly, breakfast was great, and there wasn’t a single thing we didn’t like. Nothing can beat it.

A stunning room in a charming house, right near town and the beautiful park; the hosts were friendly and helpful, and the place was super comfortable – they had thought of every detail. We were thrilled with the stay and the price was great too. I can’t imagine any way to make it better!
