“Nice”

The view of the lake is fantastic, but there was no coffee maker in the room.

“Nothing to write home about.”

The hotel sits beside the water and the deck is a great spot to sit and watch the water, while the outside grounds are well maintained. However, the pool water needed to be shocked and the pool hours should be revised, especially during a holiday weekend; closing at 9 feels too early. If a room is occupied by three people, enough towels should be provided. We checked into a hot room and had to report that the air conditioner wasn’t working properly, likely because it had been off for a long time and took longer to cool during the heat advisory. One day a drug pipe was found on the ledge of a room window, and another day two large dogs were walking leash‑free; no one bothered us, but it’s not a place I’d return to.

The place is clean and quiet, though I didn’t go fishing.
