“Not for me......”
The neighbor kept playing music and talking on the phone until 2:00 am. The room really needs a lot of TLC, and water was everywhere at the front entrance of our room, soaking the doormat in foul liquid.

The whole pub looks run‑down; another guest had to vacuum the corridor and his own room because it was filthy.

The only positive thing was its proximity to a great café; otherwise the place was old, tired, and not clean.

Location perfect. Clean linen and room. Hot water good with pressure. Meal and staff in Hotel great. Perhaps rooms a little tired

We headed to the Flinders Rangers for the October long weekend and booked a two‑night stay at the Hawker Hotel Motel. A staff member escorted us up to our room, and as he opened the door to the upstairs area, a disgusting odor hit us. Inside our room, the smell was a mix of urine, body odor, and feces. I asked downstairs for a room change, and he offered a refund if we wanted it, but I just wanted to move rooms, which he agreed to. We were warned by several people not to eat there because of potential food poisoning, so I avoided the food entirely. The female bathroom was revolting, with mold on the shower walls and peeling tiles. The toilet smelled like sewage. I had to buy thongs from a nearby service station because I didn’t want to shower in the cubicles. Whenever I used the bathroom, I had to cover my face to avoid the dry air. There was a tiny soap cake, only one paper towel left, and no replacement. After that last towel, there was no paper towel or bin in the room. I had to bring the towel back to the room to put it in the bin, but there was no bin there either. The male bathroom was slightly better; the door was propped open with a stone to let the stench out. I noticed what looked like two new sinks in the male toilets, so I used them because the female ones were worse. On the balcony, it seemed like old, broken furniture had been tossed out: a lounge chair without arms, other chairs, and tables were all dumped there.
