We spent two nights at The Old Dower House while we had a wedding nearby. The hosts were outstanding and even helped with wedding preparations. Everything surpassed our expectations: the beautiful, comfy bed, the homemade breakfasts, and the cake baked in advance. Every detail was thought out, so if you’re in the area it’s a must‑visit. There’s also a great pub across the road. Thanks, Hannah and Trevor, for your kind hospitality!

A charming house in the countryside, full of character and every amenity you could wish for. The host, who is also an excellent baker, welcomed us with fresh lemon cake upon arrival. Breakfast was flawless, offering fresh produce and a generous portion to start the day. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was well presented, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The place and its staff deserve a perfect 10/10. Nothing was perfect, but that’s the only complaint.

Everything was exceptional. Hannah, the host, was welcoming and attentive throughout our stay, making us feel right at home. The property, location, cleanliness, and breakfast were all outstanding. There was absolutely nothing to fault; it was amazing.
