“Foi boa, mas poderia ser melhor!”

The hotel is in a fantastic spot and the housekeeping team were courteous, swapping towels every day. The downside was the bed in room 25 – at 1.70 m my feet dangled off the edge, feeling more like a child's bed. On top of that the window wouldn’t close, letting extra street noise in, and the complimentary roll of bread was both hard and far too small to hold any toppings.

Wellington at the front desk was friendly and gave solid tips on where to eat around the area, and the breakfast was solid, making the central location even more convenient. Because the hotel was packed for the João Rock event, the bathrooms could have used more frequent cleaning, and the ceiling fan in my room was dusty—when I turned it on the dust fell onto the bed and stirred up my rhinitis a bit.

“Instalaçao boa, tudo limpo e organizado”

The hotel sits right across from the bus station, which is super handy, and the nightly rate was very cheap. The facilities were decent enough for a short stay.
