John was very friendly and nothing was a problem for him; the room was adequate for what we needed, would stay here again, great location. The only thing was the ensuite shower was a bit small for my partner as he is six foot tall.

The host John and his lovely dogs greeted us warmly, making the place feel like a second home. The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy, with ambient lighting and thoughtful touches such as bathrobes if needed. I’d strongly recommend this spot for both short and long stays, especially for the wide breakfast options—my favorite was the full English. I’ll definitely book again on my next visit.

John was friendly and extremely helpful. The Glen sits on a quiet side street, so we heard no outside noise. The room was small but spotless and had everything we required. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious, and we could store our bags at the hotel after the official checkout time.
