The area was quiet, the property was well maintained and clearly cared for by the owners, and it was close enough to town for convenience. The heating thermostat was hard to read, but it worked fine.

The staff were very nice, making check‑in and check‑out smoother. The beds were very comfortable, and it was quieter at night than I anticipated despite the nearby highway. I enjoyed the gardens and trees, and the place felt homey. Walking over to the Wild Hog for breakfast was a highlight. The creamer in the fridge might have been off, which made the coffee taste a bit off. A heated pool for fall use would be nice since the pool already exists.
