“Simple Rustic & Peaceful”

I really loved my stay at An Thong Beach Resort on Koh Phaluai. It’s simple, rustic, and peaceful—a lovely spot to unwind. The host was warm and welcoming, and breakfast was amazing. Her kindness went beyond the stay: after finishing at the monastery, she welcomed me back for breakfast and let me use a cabin for a few hours to rest while waiting for the ferry. I’m deeply grateful for such thoughtful hospitality; it made my time on the island feel truly special. Thank you for looking after me so beautifully. 💛

We had an amazing stay. The owner was excellent and the chef was outstanding, the food was truly delicious. She treated us perfectly. Her kindness and smile made the vacation unforgettable. Thanks also to Diu who accompanied us everywhere and was a great guide. The property was super clean and set in a beautiful seaside setting, right on the water. Heartfelt thanks, see you soon!

“Eden assoluto”

The resort feels like a garden of trees and flowers, with a lawn that ends on a beach offering direct sea access, free of rocks or stones. The bungalows face the sea, spaced apart, each boasting a stunning view. It’s the only resort on the island that provides privacy, a breathtaking panorama, and a stretch of beach completely free of rock… we saw them all! The lack of air conditioning was totally irrelevant; the sea-facing bungalows stay cool at night… and for some reason Phaluai had no mosquitoes, so we slept blissfully with the windows open and the fan off in a magical silence! What made this place unforgettable was the staff’s service, which on an island that offers little really makes a difference! Lady Ewy pampered us like a five‑star resort… every possible request was fulfilled kindly; she cooked delicious food with love every time.

Our stay on this little island, unknown to most tourists, was wonderful, especially thanks to A (pronounced Ey) our host at Angthong Beach Resort. She was incredibly kind, gentle, and generous, touching us deeply. A and Dew went out of their way to please us; Dew guided us on a sporty hike with an insane view as a reward. The bungalows face the sea in a beautiful location. The bungalow equipment is minimalist but sufficient, the bed is very comfortable. This 4‑day, 3‑night stay was a magical pause. Unfortunately, the island, like the rest of the Gulf of Thailand, is invaded by plastic. But Angthong Beach Resort cleans its beach regularly.

“perfect for relaxation and exploring the island. a real experience and away from the bustle of the nearby islands. great”

The location is peaceful right on the beach, with large wooden old‑style bungalows. No complaints.
