The place is beautiful, utterly peaceful in a stunning rural setting. It was clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was great. I would highly recommend it.

The rooms were clean and the hosts were welcoming. Breakfast was good and the room facilities were satisfactory. We had to remove our shoes at reception, and sharing one large table for breakfast felt a little awkward, even though the other guests were friendly.

The place is in the ideal spot for the Coast to Coast walk, the hosts greeted us warmly, the room was comfy and spotless, and the meals were outstanding—especially the evening option, which paired perfectly with the breakfast, the best we’ve had on this holiday. Nothing we didn’t like.

Breakfast was cooked to perfection and the fruit selection was delightful; the staff were friendly and highly capable. The location was gorgeous, peaceful, and conveniently close to long-distance trails. The only downside was that the twin room beds felt a bit firm, but that minor issue didn’t ruin anything, and the host was very helpful with extra bedding.
