The price‑to‑quality ratio was decent, and the shaded spot by the barbecue was handy for warm evenings. It’s also close to Lidl in Gabrovo. On the downside, the pool has no water circulation, no lounge chairs or seating around it, and there’s basically nothing to do there. Plus, one of the bedrooms is a hallway, so you have to walk through it to get to the other room—pretty inconvenient for anyone trying to relax.

This period house is beautifully restored, and the wood‑fired hot tub was a real treat. The driveway can be a bit of a challenge for a large 9‑person van, but it’s manageable. The hosts were friendly and helped us out right from the start.

This is the most unique guesthouse I’ve seen—more like a VIP apartment than a regular house. Paying 350 BGN for a night for nine people (and maybe more) is insane! The guy who didn’t greet us still showed us everything and was very polite. I highly recommend it.

Everything was fine—great spot right in the heart of the Balkans. The local vibe was lovely, and the hosts were very friendly. I strongly recommend it.
