The Nkuhlu Tented Camp is fantastic, unfenced in Kruger National Park. Families traveling together but staying in separate tents can cook and eat their own food together, then return to their tents afterward. We really liked that, but because of the high price we only stayed one night. The price for a single night without meals, etc., is too high in our opinion.

The accommodation is excellent and the location is great. The staff were outstanding and especially helpful since my wife is disabled. The terrace is nice for coffee and snacks. Nothing to mention.

I’ve been to Nkuhlu Tented Camp three times and I love it. The staff—Polite, Wisky, Aubrey, and the team—are great. The location is perfect and it’s wonderful there. The bed is very good; I always sleep wonderfully. One night I woke up to an elephant grazing beside my tent. In the night you hear the whole wilderness—hyenas, lions, hippos—pure nature. I’ll come back. However, a toaster is missing. Washing dishes is difficult but acceptable. We had late lunch in Skukuza and then cooked very little in the evening.

The position is charming, an absolute experience of feeling immersed in nature. The shower water had some debris that made the hair a bit muddy.
