The accommodation is tucked into a hilly landscape amid forests in a small, very peaceful town that has all the necessary infrastructure. The room was very comfortable and spacious, featuring a roomy bathroom and a lovely balcony under a roof. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, ranging from cured meats and cheeses to various pâtés and jams, cereals, compote, and the bread was fresh. Cleanliness was fine, parking was guaranteed, and there is also a restaurant on the ground floor. The location is suitable for sports activities and exploring nearby historical sights. I was there to investigate historical landmarks, castles, monasteries, the Danube Valley, and Wachau. It really involves a lot of driving by car, but it is doable. I have nothing negative to say about the accommodation itself, but I can comment on other aspects. Because the location is in the hills, the roads are steep and winding, so driving in rain and/or darkness is quite unpleasant. The town lacks a petrol station, so you have to be careful about when and where to refuel. The location isn’t ideal for someone who doesn’t like long drives on such roads. I personally have no issues with that, the only annoyance was the darkness combined with rain.
