I loved the aesthetic of the dome with its views on the floors and in the lobby, it was very charming; the use of the letter “C” in the elevator to the breakfast floor was a neat touch. The hotel’s location is strategically placed near all the essentials. Breakfast was great, though there were no options for dietary restrictions, yet the full standard hotel breakfast spread was delicious. The bedding was clean, white, and fragrant. The room and bathroom were tidy. I did miss the top pillow on the bed, as I’m used to a softer mattress. The room’s sound insulation was a bit lacking because we could hear everything happening in the adjacent units and in the corridor.

They claimed there was no triple room available and that I would have to pay extra to accommodate my family, even though I had already booked for the correct number of people. After a lot of arguing and stress, a triple room finally appeared.

The service was good, but there was a lingering smell of smoke. The whole building had problems with the furnace that heated the water, producing a strong unpleasant odor—smoke all over the hotel.

Overall it was very good, but the reception lacked a sense of welcome or belonging, except for one 21‑year‑old staff member who was excellent—communicative, relaxed, and welcoming. It’s no wonder she’s been there for 21 years.
