The house was a genuinely beautiful old building. Our room was spotless and the breakfast was tasty. The lady who served us breakfast only spoke Catalan, but we could always get by. The San Jaume restaurant is just a few minutes on foot – tasty and relatively inexpensive. It’s the town’s gathering spot and always lively. The Pompeu metro station is only a 15‑20 minute drive away, so you can get to the city center comfortably and without stress. The only downside was the clockwork at the front door.
