“Don't bother, you will regret it!”
A total scam… we booked a log cabin three months ahead and were sent a message three days before arrival that we didn’t see, asking us to cancel. When we got there the “cabin” was unavailable and we were offered a garden shed with a bed instead. It was boiling hot inside, and we were told to use a communal kitchen in the house and not touch anyone else’s food! The place was in the middle of a housing estate, with a park across a road blocked by a high fence. It seemed to be a multi‑occupancy house with loud barking dogs. We refused to stay, but the owner wouldn’t refund us, claiming she had asked us to cancel when we booked, which is simply untrue. Shame that they allowed guests to stay on their books. Customer service was hard to reach, unhelpful, and offered us £21 compensation, so we’re still £80 out of pocket. Everything was misrepresented, the property and location were wrong, and the staff were extremely unhelpful.
