The staff were professional and welcoming, the cleanliness, ambience and presentation were excellent, but the food was mediocrely cooked despite good ingredients and did not live up to the beautiful presentation and good service; the breakfast was abundant, well presented and served but lacked flavor. The property is prestigious and still new but already shows signs of neglected technical maintenance that cleaning cannot compensate for. The hotel’s surroundings are degraded and dirty, the access is chaotic from a dirt road and a poorly maintained public road, the sea is dirty, and the staff do not speak a single word of Italian even though a large statue of the very Italian San Padre Pio dominates the reception, which feels somewhat garish in the frivolous vacation atmosphere.
