“Short stay completely off grid”

Breakfast was decent—bacon, eggs, and a bunch of cereals. The view was nice and the owner was friendly, even had a fire ready to go. We were happy that our dog was welcome, which was the main reason we chose this spot. The shower was top‑notch. On the downside, the grounds were barely kept up, reception was awful, no TV or Wi‑Fi, and the place felt run‑down and far from the fancy winery vibe we expected.

“Nice area. Stay would be improved if cottage was thoroughly cleaned and maintained. Host were pleasant and friendly”

Loved the privacy, but the kitchen was a mess. There were mouse droppings near the microwave and dead flies and bugs on the cupboards. It made us hesitant to use the kitchen until we cleaned everything ourselves.

“Relaxing but the quarters were not clean and a bit rustic for the price”

The location and wine selection were nice, and the views were relaxing. However, the place wasn’t clean, and the so‑called breakfast was just 5 raw eggs, a package of bacon, a few cereal boxes, and milk that had been in the fridge for two days.

“Good Wine & Great Views”

The cottage had an amazing view and a lovely old‑world feel. The kitchen came fully equipped with breakfast supplies, and the yard was fully fenced so our dog could run around. The bed was cozy and comfortable. The hosts were generous, letting us taste some cellar wines and we even took a couple of bottles home.

We went there to find a place for our dog and a good spot to set up a telescope at night, and it worked perfectly for both. The accommodation had all the facilities and was cleaned well on the surface, but there were a lot of cobwebs in the ceiling—something that could be fixed. Other than that, everything was exactly what we were looking for, and I’d definitely recommend it.
