La Kruger Lifestyle Lodge - Unfenced - Unforgettable

The staff were amazing, the hotel sits right in the middle of the park with a unique vibe, the food was very good, and the employees were friendly. The décor feels like another era, but it gives the place a certain charm.

“Alles in Allem gut freundliches Personal und gutes Essen macht das meiste wieder wett.”

The location and the building’s style were nice, but it wasn’t very clean, the shower head was completely limescale‑covered and nearly fell apart, and the outlets were in worse shape than they should be. The access road is almost only passable by a 4‑wheel drive, it’s full of holes and some sections are very steep.

We stayed just one night on the way, but the lodge was more than suitable. The drive is a bit tedious, yet there’s a very good dinner on site. The staff were extremely friendly. A highly recommended place!

The lodge was great, we really liked it, except for the unlucky fact that we ended up in the only standard room on the ground floor that was slightly damp but still an excellent room. (The three higher rooms are probably amazing, with a large private terrace, not to mention the separate villas that are fantastic). A hyper‑positive note on the food, truly excellent both for breakfast and dinner – as an Italian, I have to say the cuisine is outstanding. To be honest, I liked everything, but if I had to find a flaw it might be that the cleaning/maintenance of some room items could be a bit better.

“Prima verblijf voor 1 nachtje net buiten Krugerpark”

The rooms were spacious, the terrace was large, the food was good, and the service was friendly. A fine stay for one night. The road to the hotel was in terrible condition, the last 100 metres were a challenge, likely due to the storm and rain in May. The accommodation can’t do anything about that. Getting the hot water was tricky: the water was either too hot or too cold.
