We had to transfer by ferry and spent over 5 hours in Rasdhū, so we contacted the host to store our luggage at the guesthouse while we went snorkeling on the beach. The host agreed to hold our bags even though we weren’t staying in Rasdhū that day. On the beach we saw eagles, manta rays, reef sharks, napoleon fish, and many other fish and marine life – truly a dive island.

It was a pretty long list, but in short we didn’t like the customer service because the owner left us hanging while I spent days messaging him about our arrival time. On top of that the sheets and pillows were stained, the fridge smelled like mold, and entering the bathroom felt like walking into a sewer.

The location is close to the main street and the beach. The air‑conditioning and the fridge worked well. The rooms, sheets and towels were not very clean. Communication with the staff was nonexistent or difficult.

The location is very good, near the harbour and the main street, also near the beach. When we arrived no one was in the hotel, so we had to wait a long time until someone came to check us in. The room was okay, nothing fancy, but it matched the price. They don’t clean the room unless you tell them to.

The rooms could be nice if they were cleaner and better maintained. The lounge is nice, but it was rarely cleaned or tidied. The bottles and dishes from previous guests stayed around for days. I booked a room with a view, but for me it’s not a view when every room has a window that only looks at a dark hallway. The room and bathroom would be fine if they were cleaner and better maintained. The floor in the room was broken. The sofa had so many stains that I didn’t want to sit on it. The drains smelled. I complained and they promised cleaning. Instead of cleaning the drain, they put three chlorine‑smelling chemical balls on the drain grate, which obviously didn’t help. They promised the bin with used toilet paper would be emptied daily, but that didn’t happen because the staff allegedly didn’t have a key for my room. I was left with an empty bag on the door until I finally put the bin in the hallway so it could be emptied. I paid 7 × 86 USD without breakfast and the price/quality ratio was not acceptable.
