Smiley Bungalows Guesthouse

At first I wasn’t sure because of some negative reviews, but I’m actually so happy I booked this place. The room, the atmosphere, the location – everything was amazing and comfortable, and the staff were so nice and attentive, even helping me book a flight and order take‑away. Anything I needed, they were happy to help. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and will definitely come back.

“Extremely disappointing – would not recommend”

Extremely disappointing – would not recommend. Unfortunately, the property looked very different from the photos shown online and did not meet our expectations at all. The room and overall conditions were so disappointing that we decided to leave and move to another hotel, which caused us additional expense and inconvenience. We were also told that we would receive a refund under certain conditions, but the money owed to us has still not been returned. I would strongly recommend checking recent guest photos and reviews carefully before booking

“אל תלכו לשם! זו תרמית”

We hated everything; it was a scam. The pictures on Booking had nothing to do with the place. It’s a cramped spot with two rooms next to each other, one’s noise is audible in the other. There really isn’t a beach, they only filmed one across the street. The living area is inside a neighborhood of Thai residents; no tourists around. The rooms were infested with insects, the AC and fridge didn’t work. An old man kept staring at us in a very uncomfortable way. The price was steep for nothing. There was nothing else to say, and it was scary. We filed a lawsuit to get our money back. We only had one night out of the week we booked. There were no locks on the rooms; the door was a sliding glass one.

I arrived to find the room without air‑conditioning, and I’d have to pay extra to upgrade. The spot is great, but the cost feels high for the fact that the room wasn’t cleaned even once during my four nights. It was fun to go to bed and hear the waves, but the waves let you hear everything from outside.

Nothing. The experience was appalling. From the moment we arrived, insects were everywhere. The photo on Booking and the cabin we actually received were a far cry from the sky and land shown. The lady who posted the photo filmed the hotel with a bungalow and a pool, but we got a cabin with a jacuzzi, insects crawling and flies everywhere. The bedding was dirty, the bathrooms were filthy. There was no way to close the bungalow, and the atmosphere was just unpleasant. Absolutely not recommended.
