The estate and winery are beautifully renovated, there are plenty of parking spaces, and everything is well maintained. The house is split in two; it seems not entirely voluntary. One half belongs to the winery, which serves guests well and kindly. The other half, Juraga Apartments, offers no catering, yet you can smell the other guests’ coffee and watch them eat breakfast. It appears there are disagreements between the parties, which you can feel and also hear from the staff. Something you don’t need on vacation. The hotel rating also feels odd. There was a mislabeled dispenser in the bathroom—nothing more or less. What was inside? We still don’t know. It’s a shame because the location and substance are amazing.
