The hotel was spotless and the room size was just right. The view was stunning and the place was very quiet. The owner was very friendly, though she only spoke Spanish. The room was cleaned and tidied every day. There was a fan, but no air‑conditioning. The hotel sits outside the city, roughly 15 minutes by car from San Sebastián. Unlike what was listed on the booking site, the Wi‑Fi was good. Breakfast cost 5 € per person and included a baguette, croissant, butter, jam, coffee and bacon. There is no elevator, and the property is mainly suitable for those with a car because public transport is poor.

The breakfast was excellent, and the host was very pleasant and friendly. Getting there is a bit inconvenient, and the room is very basic.

The bedding was good and the room was clean. It’s hard to find at night, the sign is stuck on a black background, the road to the property is narrow, and the website description of the room is unclear.

Rustic, great value for money, amazing views! Nothing to complain about. Just a heads‑up: if you don’t have a car, it’s a steep walk down about a mile to the local shops.
