I would not recommend this site to anyone seeking a welcoming or enjoyable glamping experience. While the location was nice and the facilities were adequate, the overall experience was completely ruined by the appalling treatment from both staff and other guests. The website markets the place as suitable for families or small groups of friends, yet within just two hours of our arrival we were told to stop playing football on a designated pitch—despite nearby guests playing badminton at a similar volume. It was clear our neighbours were overly sensitive and, frankly, hypocritical. Things escalated when we tried to use the stand‑up paddleboards on the lake, and the same group started making personal and body‑shaming comments about my weight—despite me being a healthy, active adult at 190 cm and 80 kg. This behaviour was not only rude but deeply inappropriate and unprovoked. Later that evening, my friends and I sat quietly on the decking outside our pod, having a few drinks. We weren’t playing music or being disruptive and went to bed shortly after midnight. At 1 am, we received an angry phone call from the owner claiming we were too loud—despite the fact we were already in bed by that time. They refused to listen or have a reasonable conversation with us. The next morning, we were abruptly told to leave by 11 am, with no discussion permitted. The tone and manner in which we were spoken to were incredibly rude and unprofessional. Having travelled extensively across more than 15 countries, I have never encountered such hostility and poor customer service. This was a deeply disappointing and uncomfortable experience, and I would strongly caution others—especially groups of friends—from booking this site.
