The pool was underused despite its size and easy access. Jever’s location gives quick reach to the Siele on the coast as well as Leer and places like Emden. The young Filipino waitresses were refreshing, polite, friendly, and always tried to speak German. I found the kitchen very good, whether it was a full buffet in the morning and evening or a plated dinner with soup and a nightstand. The chef even came to our table to ask if everything tasted right. I have nothing to complain about.

The staff were absolutely friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, offering something for every palate. I want to highlight the dinner, which was delicious and beautifully presented. The rooms were fairly small and sparsely furnished, and a balcony would have been nice. The Wi‑Fi was a disaster, or not available at all. The beds were definitely too soft and sagging; that needs to be fixed. The housekeeping was very friendly and always eager to help. We would recommend the Schützenhof hotel. No Wi‑Fi access despite asking, bad mattresses, no safe for valuables, very spartan rooms.
