The host was a friendly woman who made me feel welcomed, and the parking was convenient. I had WiFi. The building and my room looked very old‑fashioned, with poor decor and an uncomfortable, hard bed. The furniture felt outdated and untidy, and there was no hairdryer. I could hear other guests in their rooms. The teapot was cracked, the cereal a bit stale, and the full English breakfast was subpar—toast wasn’t toasted.

The location is central to the attractions, and every staff member was polite and friendly. The place was a bit tired and ramshackle, but it was cheap and I just needed a place to stay in town.
