“Quiet and nice”

We loved the quiet location and the nice lounge where we watched a bit of TV and played board games, but we were disappointed not being offered breakfast, which was a let‑down since the next shop/coffee house that opened early was a bit of a drive away, forcing us to check out earlier than desired; the sauna was alright but could use a bit more love.

“Perdus dans l'Ouest”

Hot tub and spacious room, but not welcomed and saw no one in 3 days—no breakfast even though a buffet was advertised and the hotel was full; when we called for breakfast info using the contact number on a sheet, no one answered despite two calls; a broken window that didn’t close fully and opened at night with strong wind made us sleep badly the second night, and anyone could enter during the day; a broken hair dryer with visible electrical cords; overall disappointing value for money and left feeling abandoned, especially since no one answered—though we’re used to self‑check‑in in the western fjords, we still expected contact from hosts.

A great accommodation with a very good location to all attractions; the room was clean and we had everything we needed, but we didn’t meet anyone who worked there, and a response to our question via Booking never came; a bit more personality and communication would have been nice, though the accommodation itself is still recommended.

“Incrível”

Everything was great. The entire accommodation was very well decorated and extremely comfortable. We loved the stay and would book again if we return to Iceland. The room was amazing, full of windows that allow you to watch the auroras. Nothing to point out.

“This is a great place for relaxing and a one night stop on the way around the island.”

The views were amazing, and the sauna was perfect, but the hot tub turned out to be an algae pool.
