The hotel’s location offers a sea view, but in room 303 we found no blankets or sheets on the beds or in the wardrobe, and the toilet paper was wet because water dripped from the ceiling onto the roll. We arrived after the reception had closed at 16:00 and there was no emergency number listed, forcing us to sleep in light clothing—a memory we won’t soon forget. Two used mattresses leaned against the wall in the hallway, which looked uninviting.

Beautiful hotel situated just above the sea. Very attractive swimming pool, grounds and room interiors. Lovely restaurant terrace overlooking the pool and the sea. Breakfast was fine though we only stayed one night so didn't experience any lack of variety. Amazing value for money. All good. It's difficult to get back on the fast road towards Rethymno. Maybe the hotel could put up a direction sign at the exit?7

The location has a nice sea view, but that’s about it. We only stayed three nights, but it felt like a lifetime. It seems the hotel is run by a single person—whether that’s the manager or the owner, we’re not sure—yet the person was rude and unfriendly. No matter what I asked, they’d first frown and then lecture. Even warm water for tea seemed a request. On arrival, the room had a stained layout; when I complained, I was lectured about “bad guests” sabotaging everything, told the sheets were new and cost 2 € each, and that the cheap sheets were fine. The pillows were musty, had long hair from a previous guest’s shower, and the bath mat was moldy. The hallways were littered all day and at night with cleaning supplies, dirty laundry, trash, and cat litter, including a stained mattress on the floor for two days. A public space seemed to be the private office of the owner/manager, cluttered with pens and other items. Breakfast was a joke: stale bread in plastic bags, opened Kellogg’s packs, and a hodgepodge of old glasses and cutlery on a poorly arranged buffet. I warn everyone against this hotel; I took photos, and when she saw them she fired a gun at me and I never dared return.

The village of Panormos is nearby, and the hotel offers on‑site parking and a pool. The price‑quality ratio is excellent, and the breakfast on the shared terrace with sea and pool views is very pleasant. Just don’t be too observant.

The location is good, and the renovated bathroom is acceptable. The hotel is very neglected: there’s no one at reception, the sheets and towels are years old, stained, and unpressed; the terrace furniture is worn, the table is dirty, and cleaning is questionable. Breakfast is okay but not suitable for allergy sufferers.
