Parkhotel Styria is only a 15-minute walk from the old town of Steyr. The summer terrace spreads out into the garden and is a great place for breakfast and to have a drink in the afternoon or evening. The newly renovated, modern rooms are furnished with plenty of bright wood. A TV and a bathroom with a shower and hairdryer are provided.

The room was large and clean, parking was ample, and breakfast was decent on average. The hotel felt very spacious, especially at breakfast where there were almost no other guests, making the place feel a bit lonely and empty. Walking to the nice old town takes a good 10 minutes, but the narrow path and underpass beneath the expressway aren’t very attractive. The price‑to‑value ratio isn’t great for a room costing over 200 euros for three people.

Breakfast was excellent, the location is central, there are plenty of parking spots, the staff were very friendly, and the room was big. The mattresses were a bit too firm and the pillows were too small.

The staff were extremely friendly and warm, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful (even suitable for dietary restrictions). The surrounding trees and greenery make the place very cozy. The two roads close to the room and the traffic noise bothered us a bit, but we would book the area again, maybe asking for a different room.
