The place feels truly magical – the kids were thrilled by everything they saw. Just a heads‑up: from Monday to Wednesday the town has almost no restaurants open, so you’ll need to cook yourself. The inn does have a kitchen area with a microwave and a grill, which saved us a lot of hassle.

The room was filthy – dust everywhere, stained bedding, and loose items scattered around. My wife broke out in an allergic reaction from the grime, and the so‑called private area above the castle was pitch black at night, with windows that wouldn’t close and insects crawling around; we had to rely on a flashlight. It was obvious the staff knew about the bug problem because there was insecticide in the room, yet the employees were rude and unhelpful.

Everything about the stay was excellent, from the service to the amenities. The weather wasn’t on our side, but that’s beyond anyone’s control and didn’t ruin the experience. Overall, we still had a great time.

The server who took care of us was really attentive and friendly, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the breakfast left a lot to be desired – there just wasn’t enough variety to keep things interesting.
