I didn’t like that breakfast was served on a tray, forcing you to keep asking the staff what you wanted; a hotel breakfast should let you walk up to a buffet and pick what you actually want without constant questions. On the downside, the bathroom was extremely small.

They welcomed us very warmly, especially after we explained the mix‑up with the reservation that had been booked but wasn’t available for me. The service, cleanliness and location were all commendable.

The location was great, I was very well attended, the street was very quiet yet close to everything, especially Ermitão Beach, where I took a lovely walk on a preserved and very safe trail, and near a fantastic pizza place recommended by Gabriel. I would definitely come back, especially for the value. The bathroom was small, but the shower heats well and the water pressure is excellent. The breakfast could be better; it’s just a standard café, the same every day, and there’s no option for those needing protein or with dietary restrictions. They said it was simple because there were few guests and served on a tray, but I think adding scrambled eggs, tapioca, or an omelette wouldn’t cost much. The cake I ate was hard, as if it had been in the fridge for days; attention to the quality of the simple items would help.

I found it suitable for the type of accommodation. The staff are very friendly and available. The staircase is steep and can cause head bumps.
