The setting was amazing—jungle boogie vibes—but the falls, the noises, and the plants were distracting.
“Vacation on the farm”
The location is amazing and definitely the perfect spot to stay in the Hilo area, but if you stay in the cabins outside it’s a truly outdoor environment; not a problem at all, but we would recommend creating some defined paths or ways to the cabins with cut grass, because the high grass always left us with wet feet arriving at our place.

The scenery is truly dreamy—rarely does reality surpass the photos, and this place proves it. The staff were pleasant and the tiny bungalows were beautifully furnished. However, there’s no air‑conditioning; I understand the sustainable concept, but with temperatures over 30 °C it’s barely bearable, and the ceiling fan does little, while the rooms feel quite small for three people.
