The location was perfect, right by the beach with a beautiful view (and on clear days you can even see Les Saintes and Marie-Galante). The host was extremely kind and the apartment was well equipped, exactly what we needed.

The building was beautiful and the owner had two cute little dogs. A driver from the airport got me to the hotel quickly, even through the dark and windy road; my purse fell out of my bag during the trip, the owner called the airport for me, and after I was upset about losing my purse, the driver contacted the owner two days later and said he found it! Huge thanks to Richard. The room was huge, the shower was great, the open plan allowed me to watch the sunrise and sunset without a problem. There are many stores, bars and restaurants down the street, and a store with a working ATM. The only issue was no AC; I left all the windows open to cool the room and myself.

Très belle situation dans Calibishie avec vue sur mer. Chambre agréable et bien ventilée. 4 restaurants et 1 épicerie à proximité. L'équipement ménager dans la kitchinette est minimaliste

Veranda View Guesthouse’s spot is truly amazing—its first‑floor veranda opens straight onto the sea and offers a view of Guadeloupe, a perfect place to sit and soak it all in. The room itself was huge, spotless, and tastefully decorated; the website photos were already eye‑catching, yet the real place surpassed them. Situated right in Calibishie, there’s no need for on‑site meals because you can visit the neighbors, which I highly recommend. What a wonderful spot; we’re already looking forward to our next visit!
