Wonderful design with all the modern amenities. Quiet beautiful neighborhood right by the River. Lovely host. We didn’t have a car so it was a steep climb up to the town. It was about a 30 minute walk for us to go up the path, maybe 300 ft. change in elevation. Not for the weak

Very good location for exploring the surroundings. You can walk in 10 minutes to the town where there are several good restaurants. With a car you can explore all the interesting sights, and the host gave us good tips for day trips every morning at breakfast. We felt very comfortable in this accommodation and it was always very quiet. Nothing.

What a delightful place! We stayed with our rowing team at River House Radolca and were very enthusiastic about the hospitality. The host does everything to make sure guests enjoy themselves. We felt immediately welcome and enjoyed the personal attention. The accommodation is beautifully located by the river, in a quiet setting. At the same time, the lovely town of Radovljica is nearby, with excellent dining options. The location is wonderfully quiet and not overly touristy, yet ideal for trips to tourist attractions like Bled and Ljubljana. For our rowing team it was the perfect base during the competitions. A great place to stay together, relax, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The peaceful setting of River House Radolca is lovely, but those who want to explore Slovenia extensively should have a car. The accommodation is close to the tourist spot Bled, which is a big advantage. Keep in mind that traffic, especially in the morning, can be quite heavy. This can sometimes extend travel time. For us it wasn’t a problem, but it’s good to consider when planning outings.

We stayed 10 days in Radolca, and Alenka, the owner, prepared an outstanding breakfast buffet with homemade cakes, preserves, fresh fruit and more. We had many pleasant, personal chats with Alenka, who gave us great suggestions for bike rides, hikes and sightseeing routes. The house has a garden that borders the Sava river, where you can refresh yourself wonderfully. The location is convenient for hiking or biking directly from the house (an e‑bike is very useful because of the inclines). It takes 15 minutes on foot uphill to reach the town centre of Radolca, and the many restaurants serve local food. We would have liked a small kitchen; the larger apartment would have had one.
