The sheets looked clean, but the motel was the dirtiest we've ever stayed at; the floor was so filthy that the bottoms of our socks turned black, every surface had fingerprints, lamps were dust‑covered, and the walls—especially in the bathroom—were filthy.

The TV didn’t work.

The beds were comfy and the TV was a nice size, which was basically the only good thing. The plaster was patched and the parking space was tight. The biggest gripe was that the place advertised itself as pet‑friendly but actually let dogs roam free; we had a small parrot stuck in its cage and it had to stay in the car. The ice machine had no ice at all.
