My visit to L’Île de Caroubier was outstanding, surpassing every expectation. The property blended authenticity, comfort, tranquility, and genuine Moroccan hospitality. Its setting, surrounded by nature, offered a peaceful escape from everyday stress. The room was immaculate, cozy, and tastefully decorated, capturing the region’s charm. The bedding was superb, guaranteeing restful nights, and all facilities were well maintained. What truly made the stay memorable were the hosts’ kindness and generosity; they were welcoming, attentive, and always ready with a smile, making me feel more like a guest than a customer. The surrounding scenery was magnificent, ideal for relaxation, nature lovers, and anyone craving an authentic Moroccan experience. Every detail seemed thoughtfully arranged to ensure a comfortable, unforgettable stay. I highly recommend L’Île de Caroubier and would gladly return for a longer visit. The only minor complaint was that one night felt too short to fully enjoy everything the property and its beautiful surroundings have to offer; the experience was so pleasant that I wished I could stay longer. Other than that, everything was excellent—from the accommodation to the hospitality and overall atmosphere.

The setting between the lake and the mountain village, plus a lovely panoramic terrace, was magnificent. Wi‑Fi worked fine. The rooms were rustic (you should bring towels and a duvet cover), but the toilets were clean with a good hot shower. Most importantly, Mourad’s warm welcome, the tea and pastries upon arrival, and his wife’s delicious dinner and royal breakfast were delightful. We could store our bikes inside without any trouble. In short, if you travel by bike like we do, this stop is a must‑visit worth detouring to. On the bike, the 2 km from the road is worth it, but the joy of arrival is even greater… and if Mourad offered to pick us up, that would be even better!
