The location and the convenience of the bistro, bar, and café were excellent. The entrance to the rooms looked neglected because the day spa is no longer operating, but the accommodation itself was great.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and we appreciated being able to order food from the restaurant to our room. The hotel sits on the main strip, so everything was within walking distance. A TV and a small balcony with a glimpse of the sunset were nice touches, and the room was quite spacious. However, the beds were terribly uncomfortable for both of us; my partner’s side collapsed and he’s not a large guy, haha. The bathroom door doesn’t lock and the glass is see‑through, so you can see the person on the toilet a corner away (thankfully not directly in front, haha). I woke up the next day with my whole body sore from the bad beds and pillows.

The place was absolutely stunning, a fantastic spot in Daylesford. The food and cocktails were delicious. I didn’t stay long enough to enjoy everything.

Very comfortable bed, and beautiful bathroom. Staff upon arrival were extremely rude and disorganised - informing me they didn’t have my booking and simply didn’t have a room
