This family-friendly resort offers Fijian-style bures with sea views, covered verandas, and outdoor showers in deluxe units. A large sun deck surrounds the fresh-water pool, and activities include snorkelling, diving, kayaking, nature walks, and Fijian cooking demonstrations.

The connection to the local people, their songs, and traditions was strong. The breakfast was very clear and organized.

The beach and pool were nice. The arrival service was poor: I was told I could pay cash on arrival, yet my credit card was charged before I even got there. The rooms were very dirty; the ceiling fence was covered in dust and cobwebs. White ants swarmed the corners of the doors and windows, and there were countless bugs in the room.

The staff were awesome, warm, very friendly, and welcoming. The bed was super comfortable and we loved the outdoor shower. Being on the waterfront was a highlight. We had arranged for the hotel to pick us up from the airport, but they forgot and ignored multiple attempts to contact them, so we had to take a taxi. Breakfast needed protein options like cheese, yogurt, or meats; the fruit was delicious. It felt very isolated with no nearby town or village for extra meal choices. I highly recommend renting a car.
