The staff made me feel right at home and were always available to help.
The rooms were cozy and equipped with a heater, which was a blessing during the winter months.
The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.
The hotel's location was great, just a 5-minute walk to the Plaza Mayor.

“Read my next review, I would not stay again here. There are better options in Cusco.”
The room was huge, well set up, and clean. The location was fine, a short walk to the plaza, but the market was a bit of a walk. Breakfast was great, but it was really cold (0 °C in July) downstairs where it was served. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest, the walls were thin and you could hear everything, and it was really cold in the morning where breakfast was served.
“Bon rapport qualité prix”
The location was good, the breakfast was fine, and the staff were very friendly. The heating was adequate. It was very noisy; you could hear people leaving for excursions at 4 am and 6 am with no privacy. There was a smell of food in the rooms above the kitchens. I’d suggest booking rooms in the 200 or 300 range, but be warned they’re not well‑sunlit (a bit cold) and have a lot of daylight (bring sunglasses).
The staff were very kind. The room was always very clean and the Wi‑Fi was fast. The floor is wood and it creaks a lot when you move around. Several days we had problems with hot water in the shower; on some occasions there was simply no hot water.
“I would not stay here again. Save yourself a trouble and book somewhere else!”
The breakfast was great. We arrived at the hotel and I was told that the room I had booked was not available, and we could get two small rooms instead. As a family travelling with young children, this was not an option for us. I explained that I booked months ahead and paid extra for having a bigger room. The staff then said that they would ask the people to move to a different room once they came back from the town. We agreed and went to town. When we got back in the evening, we were told that it is not possible and the only thing they could offer was to have 2 small rooms. As it was very late, we had no other choice but to take the other rooms, which were small; the noise from the outside was an issue, as the music played way past midnight and traffic started early in the morning. The breakfast was served downstairs, where it was freezing cold 0 degrees Celsius in August. I was really cross with the management as this was not OK. If I had known that we were wasting time in town, I would have booked somewhere else. And this did not only happen to us. The next day, there was another group of people discussing the same issues: their room was given to someone else
“Bon rapport qualité prix”
The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was convivial. The breakfast was very complete and good quality, and the heating worked well. There was a lot of daylight because the Velux windows were open, so bring earplugs for departures and arrivals at any hour.
