“Good for a very bad stomach”

The bay view is beautiful, but there is only one restaurant on site and none nearby. The food in that restaurant gave me a bad stomach for three weeks, so I had to see a doctor. The cabins are tiny with no space for luggage, the shower only sprays a few drops, and the toilet doesn’t flush. Credit cards and bank transfers are not accepted—only cash. Driving there is difficult because the road is rough and has no signs, so you need your own transport or you can’t get back.

“A little slice of paradise on Java’s south coast! Bliss!”

The view was breathtaking, the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us. The place was clean, and breakfast was delicious with plenty of options; lunch and dinner were also available. A hand basin could have been added to the bathroom, and the steps were a bit precarious—an older person would have liked a rail.

The view from the room was incredible, even though the space was small and simple; the huge windows made up for it. Clean and tidy, the room still felt cozy. The hotel arranged catering from nearby restaurants, which was handy. Staff were helpful, but they didn’t speak English, so the translator app was essential. It’s a perfect spot for quiet seaside days, and we also loved the infinity pool.
