The chill vibe and proximity to Ba Den were great, but my room was flooded with water and I had to call the host to request a water bucket. I had told the homestay beforehand that I’d need a car for an early check‑in, yet they never responded. As a result, I left the trip without a car and it was a real hassle.

The space was wide and airy, but the room felt too small for the accommodation area and the bunk bed was not very stable.

The friendly character, beautiful lakeside grounds with a singing fountain, quiet setting, lovely view of Ba Den mountain, and the cottage itself was decent with a very nice price. However, there was a big problem that ruined everything: the thatched roof and the cottage’s rural location meant that dozens of rats roamed the roof and the cottage all night and morning, running loudly, fighting, squealing, scratching at the walls and under the floor. It was scary to think they might be inside because the noise even came from under the pillows. I didn’t sleep all night! It was terrifying. Decide for yourself.
