I appreciated the included breakfast and the cook’s friendliness, but the room I was given had a broken air‑conditioner, so I had to request a change, and right outside the windows roosters started crowing at 05:00 am.

The location was perfect for us, the local hosts spoke flawless French, they were very helpful with everything—including car rentals and taxis—breakfast was great and featured local specialties, the reception was open almost around the clock, and I would definitely stay again.

This basic hotel is about a 10‑12 minute walk from Porto Novo’s port, which worked well for our late arrival, and it was clean with breakfast included in the price. The room was rather small, and breakfast began at 7:15 am; we left at 7 and missed it, and they didn’t even offer us a coffee as a courtesy.
